Convert to IBAN

Use the below converter to convert your bank account number to IBAN format.

What Is an IBAN?

IBAN is an acronym, which stands for International Bank Account Number. It is a standard way of uniquely identifying an account for the purpose of improving the efficiency and speed of cross border payments.

IBANs have been introduced to standardize the identification of bank accounts across all banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The complete identifier, original bank account number plus the additional characters will be known as the IBAN. Implementation of IBAN facilitates improvements in the quality of information exchanged between banks involved in interbank customer payments either within the Kingdom or internationally and will help to reduce errors and delays.

Receiving Payments

Share your IBAN with anyone sending you money whether it’s a company, government agency, or individual. This includes trading partners and anyone depositing funds. Quoting your IBAN helps avoid payment delays and ensures accurate transfers.

Sending Payments

When making a payment, always request the beneficiary’s IBAN and include it in your payment instructions. If using an electronic system, use IBAN validation tools to reduce errors and ensure the IBAN is entered correctly.
